Good evening everyone,

I’m sure many of you are familiar with the age-old adage, “You have to spend money to make money.” Well, I’m here to tell you that this isn’t always true.

I’m sure we can all relate to the feeling of not having enough money. I know I can. When I was in college, I was living on a tight budget. I had to make every penny stretch. I was always looking for ways to save money.

That’s why I’m so excited to talk to you about budgeting. Budgeting can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Today, I’m going to share six real-life budgeting tips to save more money.

First, track your spending. This is a great way to get an accurate picture of where your money is going. Second, create a budget and stick to it. This will help you stay on track and keep your spending in check. Third, use cash instead of credit. This will help you stay within your budget and avoid costly interest charges.

Fourth, shop around for the best deals. Don’t settle for the first price you see. Take the time to compare prices and look for discounts. Fifth, take advantage of free activities. There are plenty of free events and activities that you can enjoy without spending a dime.

Finally, don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you’re having trouble budgeting, reach out to a financial advisor or a friend who is good with money.

As you can see, budgeting doesn’t have to be intimidating. With a few simple tips, you can save more money and take control of your finances. As the great Benjamin Franklin once said, “A penny saved is a penny earned.”

Thank you for listening. I hope you found these tips helpful.

Feedback for the Speaker

Thank you for your speech! It was very informative and you did a great job of breaking down the concept of budgeting into simple and actionable steps.

Your strengths include your clear and concise delivery, which made the speech easy to follow and understand. You also used some great public speaking techniques, such as storytelling, to engage your audience and make your points more memorable. You also used a quote from a famous figure to emphasize your point and end your speech on a strong note.

Areas of improvement include using more pauses throughout the speech and varying your volume and pitch to keep the audience engaged. For example, you could have paused for a few seconds before introducing each tip to let the audience process the information, and you could have spoken louder and with more enthusiasm when introducing the tips to create a sense of excitement.

Overall, you did a great job and I’m sure the audience was able to take away some valuable information from your speech. Keep up the good work!
