Good morning! I’m so glad to be here with you today. I want to talk to you about something that’s very important to me and I hope it resonates with each of you as well. The phrase I want to focus on is: “useless, useful, use me”.
I remember when I was growing up, I was often told I was useless. I was the kid who was always getting into trouble and I had a hard time focusing in school. I was told I was never going to amount to anything and I believed it.
Then one day, something changed. I had a teacher who saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. He encouraged me to take a chance and try something new. He believed in me and showed me that I had potential.
So I took a risk and decided to pursue something I was passionate about. I started to focus on my strengths and use them to my advantage. I stopped seeing myself as useless and started to see myself as useful.
This phrase has become my mantra. Every day I remind myself that I have something to offer and that I can make a difference. I want to encourage all of you to do the same.
We all have something to offer. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are useless. Believe in yourself and use your strengths to make a difference. Don’t be afraid to take risks and try something new.
Let’s all take a moment to remember this phrase: “Useless, useful, use me”. You are not useless. You are useful. Use yourself to make a difference.
Thank you.
Feedback for the Speaker
Thank you for your inspiring speech. You have certainly demonstrated your public speaking skills in a very effective and engaging way.
Your strengths include your clear message and purpose. You were able to communicate your message of self-belief and resilience with great clarity. You also used strong personal anecdotes to illustrate your message, which allowed the audience to connect with you and your message. Your use of repetition of the phrase “useless, useful, use me” was also effective in helping the audience to remember your message.
Areas of improvement include your body language. You could have used more hand gestures to emphasize your words and add emphasis to your message. Additionally, you could have also used more pauses to allow the audience to take in your message and reflect on it. For example, you could have paused after saying the phrase “useless, useful, use me” to allow the audience to reflect on the phrase.
Overall, you have given a very inspiring speech that communicates a powerful message. Keep up the good work and keep practicing your public speaking skills.
